What a great pub! The owner is very personable and there is also good beer. I was able to record the "Mannersache" choir here some time ago and it was great fun, gladly again - even just to drink a beer :-)

As always top! Extremely fresh and well drafted draft beer.

Pleasant, small pub. Impressed by the special music system and the inexpensive local beers. Good Scottish and Irish single malts are also present. Ideal place to entertain, play cards or listen to music.

I traveled to Bamberg last week on a beer tour with a colleague of mine. This place was a highlight in a city of beer highlights. If you love classic rock, great pils, and eccentric company. This is the place for you!

The special ambience with the historical tin signs and above all the music, which plays to Thomas Grube with LPs and a very good selection of pieces to the guests, invites again and again to visits. Super small and super charming, it’s literally the corner of a building turned into a cozy little beer venue, where they serve two beers from draft (including the stellar Keesman Herren Pils), and five more bottles from Bamberg breweries. The proprietor Tomas will probably be playing some LPs and chat you up if you find the place open. He closes early when it goes dead, which it does on this side of Bamberg, but this side of Bamberg is absent the partiers and tourists that you find in the center of town. I first came here three years ago and it’s still one of the nicest places to drink beer in Bamberg, and lucky me it’s just down the road from my hotel.
